FREEDOM FOR VENEZUELA
Se crea con la necesidad urgente de ayudar y de ser parte del cambio, de querer hacer algo positivo por nuestra gente. Aquí 3 razones para usar una:
- El objetivo principal de comprar el bolso, es dar dinero para comprar COMIDA, ¡sí! comida para aquellos que se van a la cama con el estómago vacío. Miles, millones de ellos son niños, ancianos, etc. 87% de la población de Venezuela dice que no tienen suficiente dinero para comprar comida, vamos a tratar de reducir ese número aunque sea un poquito.
- Cuando usas la bolsa con la frase en Inglés, estas haciendo eco de todas las voces que están exigiendo la libertad en Venezuela. Muchos la verán y te aseguro que se preguntarán, ¿por qué exiges la libertad de un país?. Buscarán en Internet y leerán acerca de las protestas, la inflación, la escasez de comida, medicinas, etc. Si te preguntan,¡cuéntales! No dependas de los medios sociales para llevar información, ¡nosotros somos el medio!.
- Por último y no menos importante, ayudamos al ecosistema a no utilizar bolsas de plástico cuando hacemos las compras. ¡Es tuya, úsala todos los días!
¿A donde va el dinero?
‘Sopa pa’ ti’ es un proyecto sin fines religiosos o políticos que se creó en Maracay, mi ciudad natal. Los voluntarios hacen sopas y las distribuyen en recipientes de plástico por toda la ciudad a todos los necesitados, que no tienen que comer. Te invito a que les eches un vistazo en su cuenta de Instagram. Para terminar les dejo una cuota que leí en unos de sus posts:
“Cuando das y esperas algo a cambio es inversión, pero cuando das sin esperar nada a cambio, eso es amor”.
Otra parte del dinero irá a Unos Venezolanos quienes se encargan de hacer el mismo tipo de voluntariado en la ciudad capital, Caracas, gracias también a Andrés Modesto de Próxima Extación por toda la colaboración prestada.
En momentos difíciles como este, – crisis humanitaria, cada contribución es de gran ayuda, inclusive si no eres venezolano puedes unirte a nuestra lucha. ¡Te amo Venezuela! ¡Libertad y Paz!.

The idea to make these bags was borne out of an urgent necessity to help, to be part of the change, to do something positive for our people. Here are 3 reasons to wear one:
- The main purpose of buying this tote bag is to pay for FOOD. Yes, food. Food for all who go to bed with an empty stomach. Thousands, millions of them are children, the elderly and the sick. 87% of people in Venezuela say that they don’t have enough money to eat. Let’s try and reduce that number, even just a little bit.
- When you carry the bag with the phrase in English you are are echoing the voices back home in Venezuela. A lot of people will see it! They will wonder why you are asking for the freedom of a country. They will search online and read about the protests, inflation, the scarcity of food and basic medicine. If they ask you, tell them! We can’t rely on the international media to draw attention to this, especially in Europe.
- Last but not least, we are helping the eco system by not using plastic bags while shopping. Less pollution. It’s yours! Use it every day.
